Before Nouveau Riche I was a computer consultant, which meant I did a lot of contract work and was often out of work between contracts. It got to the point that in order to stay employed, I had to travel all across the country, which took me away from my family each week, except for weekends.

I came home and started taking action, got certified a few months later, and fired my boss!
